It is that time of year when many of us starting thinking of something that we can gift to our little ones much loved teachers as a token of our appreciation for the great job they do. A recent class held here at Woodlands hoped to cover that off for me and provided gifts options that cover a multitude of occasions for anyone.
We stamped directly onto candles using stazon ink, we stamped onto tissue paper and blended these onto out candles using heat. We also stamped onto tissue and punched out circles and blended these into tea light candles.
Ever tried heat embossing on glass?
We did that too adding design to plain votive candle jars to great effect. We made packing using cello bags and my favourite Top Note die. All using SU stamps and store bought inexpensive candles and jars.
Next up were sachet of scent which we created pretty packaging for. By the end of class everyone had a lovely bundle of goodies ready to be presented to whomever they chose. For me it was a big tick in the teacher gift column on my to do list. Grand!
